Caroline Wilkie
CEO of the Australian Airports Association
Caroline Wilkie has been CEO of the Australian Airports Association since 2011. The AAA represents all major regular passenger transport airports in Australia as well as council airports. The membership spans from councils with grass strip runways to Australia’s major gateways. The AAA also represents a further 140 corporate members. The AAA is engaged in research, developing industry publications, education, advocacy and major industry events. Caroline has a Master of Public Affairs and more than fifteen years’ experience in Association Management.

Adam Hand
Associate Professor, Civil & Environmental Engineering
University of Nevada, Reno
Adam will be sharing his experience in the remediation of end-of-life concrete pavements including techniques used for the rehabilitation of concrete pavements used in various states in the US. He will also touch on thickness design for asphalt pavements over failed concrete pavements e.g.crack, seat and overlay.
Dr. Hand has B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in Civil Engineering and is a registered Professional Engineer in several States. He recently joined the University of Nevada Reno as a Civil Engineering Professor after 16 years with Granite Construction Inc where his last position was Vice President Quality Management. Prior to joining Granite, Dr. Hand was a Civil Engineering Professor at Purdue University.

Egbert Beuving
Secretary-General of EAPA, European Asphalt Pavement Association
In 1980 Egbert Beuving received his Master of Science degree at the Technical University of Delft (in the Netherlands) in Pavement engineering.
After getting his degree we worked during 10 years as Technical Manager for Netherlands Pavement Consultants.
In 1990 he joined CROW, the Dutch Information and Technology Centre for Transport and Infrastructure, as a project manager.
Here he co-ordinated National research activities in the area of road construction, recycling and asphalt pavements.
Besides being a member of several European Committees, such as COST-Actions and a Technical RILEM Committee on Preventing Reflective Cracking in Pavements, he was chairman of COST Action 336 ‘Falling Weight Deflectometer’.
In 2001 Egbert became the new Technical Director of European Asphalt Pavement Association (EAPA). Here he was the focal point for EAPA on technical issues.
In 2009 he became the Director of European Asphalt Pavement Association (EAPA) and since 2013 he is the Secretary General of EAPA.
He has been involved in the organisation of many conferences, including 4 Eurasphalt & Eurobitume Congresses. He also wrote many publications and give many presentations.
Next to that he is member of several European Standardization (CEN) Committees and other international committees.
Audrey Copeland, KEYNOTE
Vice President of Engineering, Research and Technology
US National Pavement Association
Audrey leads several areas including engineering and technical development, research initiatives working closely with the National Center for Asphalt Technology, and developing and maintaining partnering relationships with highway agencies and other pavement stakeholders. She works closely with partners at FHWA, AASHTO, and state asphalt pavement associations in areas such as pavement performance, sustainability, life cycle cost analysis, and technology deployment.
